Pepe and Dani’s Awesome Mix

Pepe and Dani's Awesome Mix 028

So last Saturday, we had the very first wedding for our generation of the family. It just so happened that the one getting married is the third youngest among us cousins. She also happens to be the closest of the cousins to me which made the evening even more special.

The bride's brother.
The bride’s brother who flew in from New York just to make it to the ceremony. He flew back the next day.

We had some of the cousins fly in from outside the country. My brother from Hong Kong, our second cousin from LA, and the bride’s brother from New York.

One of my cousin's really close friends was the bride's maid during the ceremony. The rest of their really close group of friends are now based outside of the Philippines, sadly.

Since she was also my batchmate throughout our schooling years, a lot of her close high school friends were there as well. Quite nice seeing familiar faces after all these years!

The ceremony and festivities were all held in the house of the groom’s family. It was a simple garden set up complete with a cocktail area and a stage for some bands that played later into the night.

The ceremony began right before sunset at around 5:00. I was there as a guest but I was happy that I still got quite a few shots of the bride and groom from my seat during the ceremony.
